We recently completed the landscape and bunker restoration works for phase 2 at the acclaimed Worplesdon Golf Club in Surrey. This phase consisted of works to holes 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18 which were meticulously carried out by contractor FJ Lovell Landscapes and the green keeping team.

We raised the sand in the approach bunker to fit them seamlessly into the heather bank.

Hole 17 saw the large tree to right of green removed and planted with indigenous heathland landscape. The fairway bunkers were re shaped and topped with heather.

We worked hard to re edge the approach bunkers on 18 and heather topped fronting bunker to give grand finale to the round.

Bravo to the Club for this long term vision and strategy to respect and enhance their heathland traditions. We are very proud to assist with this wonderful project.

The final phase will be completed next winter which will see the completion of a superb project.
