Following on with our enhancement works to the practice facility and re building of the 6th green complex on the Green nine we have been commissioned to analyse and supervise a bunker restoration/ renovation on the Red and Blue nines.

Our initial work started on the 13th hole with the restoration of the heathery fairway bunkers at the expansive landing zone.

Heather topped bunkers encroach both left and right from the tee.

Up at the green complex the left green side bunker was heather cladded with the three diagonal bunker to the right converted to a larger more visible central bunker and a closer greenside bunker in the bank. All bunkers were re developed with original high and very visible sand lines and a heather toppingĀ in keeping with the Harry S Colt philosophy for this amazing property and landscape.

The larger greenside bunkers re instates the grand scale of this treasured landscape.
