Tim Lobb visited the spectacular NEWGIZA golf development in Cairo last week to inspect progress to the grassing of the first twelve holes as well as inspecting the earthworks for the final six holes to be completed (3-8).

The lakes and streams are progressing well to holes 1 and 18
Perched on a 5m high rock wall, green 14 surely will be a unique green. We grassed it in September.
The par 3, 13th hole sits in the valley below with the vertical rock wall as its backdrop. Going to be something special.

The uphill 18th hole. A long par four with a partially hidden green. The landscape is coming in and giving it some character.
Well done to the whole team at NEWGIZA. It really is going to be a world class golf course once finished.
