TPL founder, and five times Open Champion, Peter Thomson addressed delegates at the recent tenth anniversary KPMG Golf Business Forum, which was held in St Andrews.

Peter joined former R&A boss — and five time Amateur Champion — Sir Michael Bonallack on stage for an interview, hosted by Don Riddell of CNN, on their experiences of St Andrews and how the game has changed in the last generation.

Peter has a long relationship with St Andrews, having visited and played there most years since the early 1950s. The final consummation of his love for the town, and the Old Course, came when he won the 1955 Open Championship by two shots from Johnny Fallon.

Andrea Sartori of KPMG said: “We were pleased to welcome Peter Thomson, the Australian golf legend, to the Golf Business Forum.”
